We truly pride ourselves on our personalized service and commitment to our clients. From landscape design and tree service to seasonal maintenance, our team provides you with the best solution for the job. While our clients’ needs can vary greatly, we have developed a six-step process that is the road map to your custom landscape.
We start with a meeting. Here our sales professional listens to what exactly you want and what your dream landscape is. If you’re unsure of what you’re looking for, or have a couple of ideas bouncing around but cannot seem to nail them down, our team of highly experienced and educated design professionals are here to help. There is no shortage of resources and creativity at Drost. We are here to make sure your vision becomes a reality. At this stage our sales person and designer will meet with you to gather additional information, perform a site evaluation, review the design process and explain cost.
With your vision in hand from the initial consultation, one of our talented landscape designers will draw out various concepts and ideas. This is an important part of the process, as we present you with concept drawings and landscape renderings of your project. We will continue to work through this process until you approve of the concept. Upon approval, we begin discussing material selection for your project.
For projects requiring construction, proper documentation of the details is critical. We will provide construction documentation and site recommendations that may include grading, surface and sub-surface drainage, hardscape construction, planting layout and planting schedule (quantities and sizes), irrigation and lighting layouts. For example, your lighting and irrigation plan would encompass foreseeable equipment needed like heads, fixtures, transformers, controllers, and other specific items. We involve our designers, managers and sales team so there is no detail left out of the proposal.
Upon approval of the design and finalization of the construction documentation, your salesperson will present you with an itemized proposal. Once the terms of the proposal are agreed upon, all we need is a signature and deposit, and we get your job scheduled. If modifications are needed or requested, this is the stage to make them.
This is the most anticipated part of the project where concept becomes reality. Your Project Manager will keep you informed on the status of your project. Working with the on-site Foreman, the project manager will communicate any questions, concerns or requests you may have during the landscape design installation.
Protecting your landscape investment with maintenance services is critical to the quality and longevity of your project; most importantly the first few years after installation for your landscape plantings. As landscapes continuously change, so do their needs. Our maintenance experts will personally see that your new landscape is properly maintained through all seasons. From spring clean-up and snow removal to pool and irrigation monitoring, our maintenance plans are completely customizable.
